On May 31, 2009, as we know it the entire teen population and people all
around the world had watched the exciting and entertaining Mtv Awards.
This show could have had higher ratings if some of the skits were relevant
and decent or were not part of the show at all. While I was watching, we
were all stunned to see how something like this can be played live on
television. However, the two hour show consisted of and I'm sure that the
audience believed was hilarious and hysterical.
Although there were several awards being given, Twilight stole the show
for the brilliance and phenomenal performance in the romantic flick. It
had won five awards including The Best Picture Nomination for doing an
outstanding and a superb job. The handsome and gorgeous Robert Pattinson
who is also known as Edward Cullen won the award for the Breakthrough
Performance Male while his co-star Kristen Stewart won the Best Female
Performance as Bella Swan. Since she was highly stupefied and astounded by
her victory, Stewart had dropped the award in a hassle. Pattinson and
Stewart had won the Best Kiss award and tried to kiss in front of the
audience but in the end, Stewart changed her mind. Also, Twilight won the
award for Best Fight and of course Best Picture and there was an exclusive
sneak-peek of New Moon Trailer, the Twilight Sequel.
In addition, as you have heard the stars of High School Musical, the
attractive Zac Efron won the award for Best Male
Performance in High School Musical Three when his friend and former
co-star Ashley Tisdale won the Best Female Breakthrough for her amazing
performance as Sharpay Evans.
"Why so serious?" The mysterious, yet awesome comedian, Heath Ledger,
had won posthumously for the Best Villain award, since his performance in
"The Dark Knight" consisted of personality, humor, and many jokes that
bought laughter on the audiences faces. Ledger remains and always will be
a legend in our hearts since his sarcasm is brilliant.
Her beautiful voice and style of singing had won Miley Cyrus the award of
Best Song which was "The Climb" in the Hannah Montana Movie. Cyrus's songs
inspire us all youngsters because her songs and concerts are excellent and
every single person enjoys Cyrus's music as well as her show.
We know him from "The Mask", "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" and "Bruce
Almighty" but his amusement and giggles in "Yes Man' delighted the
audience so Jim Carry was awarded Best Comedic winner. Carry's, speech was
the best and it had made me smile each time I heard it.
Last but certainly not the least, the star from "Tropic Thunder" and
"Zoolander", we know him as Ben Stiller won the Generation Award as a
comedian in every movie he has participated in. Stiller's prolific amount
of jokes and thrilling performance led him to receive this award and I'm
sure his fantastic ability will last for the now and years to come because
his comedy is joyous and gleeful.
